IntroductionWelcome to my 1-99 Fishing Guide! With this guide you will learn the fastest way possible to reach level 99 in Fishing. Using these methods described in this guide I reached level 99 Fishing in four weeks(11-12hrs each day ftw). You will also learn a few other methods to achieve level 99 in the fastest way possible while still making a nice profit! Enjoy and good luck!Items you will need to begin with-Patience (Fishing isn't one of the fastest skills in the game)-1 Crayfish Cage-1 Fishing Rod-250 Fishing Bait-1 Fly Fishing Rod-10k Feathers to start off (If you have more buy them. I suggest not to buy more than 10k Feathers at a time incase you change your mind)Hurry along to the Grand Exchange and purchase these items. Once that is sorted out bank ALL of your items except for the Crayfish Cage, your 250 units of fishing bait and your 1 Fishing Rod. Once you have those 3 Items in your inventory, Head down to Lumbridge. Levels 1-5/10Since the update of the new Tutorial, Crayfish have been introduced. These fish are in fact faster than Shrimp. So head down to the Crayfish fishing location here:Method:1-Click the spot2-Wait for your inventory to get full (Don't worry about the fishing rod and bait taking up extra space)3-When your inventory is fulla. Run to the general storeb. Sell your fishc. Start running back to the spotd. Drop the gold from the fish along the way back to the spot4. Repeat the steps above as needed. You may leave this spot at level 5, but I strongly recommend staying here until level 10. Note: Level 1-10 should take no more than a few minutes.Levels 5/10-20~That wasn't so hard now was it? Now that you reached level 10 Fishing (or 5) you can start Ocean Bait Fishing. Start running to Draynor to the Bait fishing spot. Drop your Crayfish Cage along the way. The location is here: Method:1. Right click the fishing spot2. Select "Bait-Fishing Spot"3. Wait until your inventory is full4. When your inventory is fulla. Run to Draynor Bankb. Deposit your fishc. Run back to the fishing spot5. Repeat steps 1-5You can fish here until level 20 or until all your bait is finished. I suggest staying here until no more than level 22. Leaving to the next location at level 20 is fine.F2P Levels 20-99Unfortunately I'm only am going to give one method for free players level 20 or higher in Fishing. The reason for this is because making money by fishing for F2P players is a huge waste of time. If your F2P and need money, go cut yews. However, free players that wish to gain fast fishing xp can try this method.If you haven't already, bank your items from Draynor and withdraw 1 Fly Fishing Rod and around 10k feathers. (Don't withdraw more than 10k incase you die). Head to the Barbarian Village Fly Fishing Spot here: Method: 1. Hop to World 12. Fish a load of Fish3. When you are fulla. You may walk northb. Bank at Edgevillec. Walk Southd. Repeat steps 2-34. Or you can do the faster way anda. Start dropping your fishb. While Dropping type in free raws over and overc. Continue droppingd. If someone trades you give them as many fish as you cane. keep dropping if necessary f. Repeat steps 2 & 4Alternate Method If you don't care about banking and don't like dropping try this.Go Here: 1. Fish at the lumbridge Fly Fishing spot2. When you are full run to the general store following the route shown. 3. Sell your fish as quickly as you can4. Run back to the fishing spot5. Drop your gold on your way back if you wish6. Repeat steps 1-6Members: Levels 20-68/70/99Requirements: Must have completed Shilo Village QuestHead to shilo via Cart or Walking. The Fishing Spots can be in these locations: Note: These spots change VERY frequently. Stick to the spots south closest to bank and by the bridge if you can.Method:1. Withdraw your Fly Fishing Rod and feathers2. Go Fish (I figure you should know this by now)3. Go Bank(look above)4. Repeat 2-4Shilo Tips1. You will average 30-38k xp/hr here depending mainly on your fishing level.2. If you run short on feathers buy some at the fishing shop. If you dont have money note your fish and sell to the fishing shop in Shilo. Buy back feathers.3. World 22 is the Shilo Fishing Player made guild CC- "w22 fish"Should I stay?Skillers are the only players that should stay here until level 99 to ensure fastest xp. If you are lazy with paying concentration stay here at Shilo Village until level 99. You do not want to try Barbarian Heavy Rod Fishing if you can't concentrate. If you are here for making money fish here until 68 or so. Then go fish monks at Piscatoris Fishing Colony. (I will not go too in-depth with this but if you are here for efficient money fish monks as soon as you can for decent xp/money). If you think you can handle it and want the great fishing xp (40-55k xp/hr) along with pretty nice xp bonuses (1.1m str and agility xp from lvl 70-99 fishing and 1.5m cooking xp from lvl 70-99 fishing) then read on for the Barbarian Heavy Rod guide.Levels 70-99 BARB FISHING FTW!This is overall my favorite form of fishing. You will receive excellent fishing xp (40k/hr at lvl 70, 55k/hr at lvl 99) and decent strength, agility and cooking xp! You never need to bank. You can get lvl 70-99 with just 25 feathers!BEFORE YOU START:You must have these stats or bax falls will be a waste of time70 Fishing45 Strength45 AgilityDon't ask why you need these stats. You need them and thats that.First, rub your games necklace to Barbarian outpost and go here(bring 1 knife and 25 feathers to begin):If you don't already have a Barbarian Rod talk to Otto and ask about fishing. He will then tell you to look under his bed. Get the rod and go fish.Your inventory should look like this at first: After you fish a load it should look like this:Organize your fish in a similar way. This will help speed up the cutting process. (Note: the only thing you have to worry about organizing is the last 2 rows. and the fish on top of the knife)Now you will have to be self-sufficient and make your own bait. Cut the fish up! =) To do so click the knife then click the fish under it. Repeat this as fast as you can. Do the same for the fish on the top. Now move the knife to the left 1 slot and cut the fish under there. Drop your offcuts (you may fish with offcuts if you are low on bait. otherwise just drop)Your inventory may look like this:Continue to fish in this matter.Tips--Listen to music-Watch a movie on the side-Fish at World 22 for Shilo or Baxtarian Falls-Don't give up!Thanks for reading. Note as I post this, this method worked perfectly well and I've decided to share it as I'm now F2P and don't plan to play runescape again. This guide involves the Tai Bwo Wannai Clean Up minigame so its a P2P guide.Requirements: Jungle potion: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?rs2quest_id=38Enough for 10k Trading Sticks (60k).Recommended:A House in Karamja, Beast of Burden.Preparing:Head to the GE and buy 10k trading sticks for the price of 60k (the lower you pay the more profit you will make), Once you recieve your trading sticks buy 10 House teletabs (if your using the house method). Take all equipment off but equip a ring of dueling. Put the trading sticks in your invent and the house tabs, if you have a beast of burden summon it and teleport via the teletab to your house (which should be in Karamja) then exit you house so your on the island.Arriving at the Minigame:f you took the sensible method of teleporting to your house in Karamja you should run south then a little east until you see "Gabooty." If you don't own a house in karamja, you will either have to teleport via a glory amulet, take the boat from Ardy or teleport to Shilo Village, However I don't suggest doing any of these as it will take to long.The red line shows the suggested route you take, and its about a 30 second run from the house portal, the yellow lines are alternative routes but will take longer.Once you arrive talk to "Gabooty," and click trade and he will show you what he has for sale.As you can see he has many items for sale, but he only accepts trading sticks for the items (hence why you bought 10k+ tradings with you). Prices for each item in trading sticks:Tribal top - 360Villager robe - 300Villager hat - 240Sandals - 120Armband - 180Buy as many as possible of the product you plan to sell, then bank by teleporting to castle wars (using the ring of dueling you should have equiped).How do I make money with this useless junk?Here are the current prices of some of the items on the 07/09/2008As you can see, The ones I highlighted in red are good profit maker's, heres the math for just the villager hats - were take the highest priced one for example.A villager hat costs 240 trading sticks, a trading stick costs 6gp so 260 X 6 = 1560.A villager hat sells for 2,524 on the Ge minus 1560 = 964 profit, using a terror bird you can bank 38 items a trip. 38 X 964 = 36632 minus a tele tab + a ring of dueling use = around 35k a trip. A trip using a terrorbird + house method can be completed in under 3 minutes, Creating a huge profit if you do this regularly.The items I highlight'd in blue are items that I havent yet tested, and the one I highlighted in yellow seems like a good money maker but once again I havent had time to test it. All villager hats sell, I bought 400 hats and it took 24 hours for all of them to sell and the GE price.
